PURE PIGMENT HAIR COLOR
I acknowledge that whenever pure pigment hair color is used, there is an understanding of the following:
· The type of water, shampoo and amount of times the guest washes her hair after the service.
· Hard/soft/well water can have an immediate affect on any colored hair and may alter the pure pigment and or cause it to fade almost instantly. Well water (with rust) can oxidize the hair color and completely change the hue.
· The use of a shampoo with harsh sulfates or using a clarifying shampoo will strip color. Hair Crafters recommends the use of a gentle, sulfate-free shampoo for all hair color services to help protect against premature fading.
· Over-washing or washing the hair every day will fade colored hair. Hair Crafters recommends not washing pure pigmented hair for at least 48 hours after the service and as little as possible after that. We recommending to invest in a dry shampoo to combat oils in between washes.
· Swimming in chlorine will always affect hair color and create immediate fading unless steps are taken to help prevent it by saturating the hair with water prior to swimming or wearing a non-porous bathing cap

PURE PIGMENT HAIR COLOR
I acknowledge that whenever pure pigment hair color is used, there is an understanding of the following:
- For best results, Hair Crafters recommends pre-lightening the hair at least 3-7 days prior to the pure pigment application.
- Pure Pigments are deposited onto hair that has been previously pre-lightened to at least a natural level 8 with bleach to ensure the most true to tone result
- Guests with a natural level 4 or lower may not achieve a natural level 8 or higher with only one application of bleach – multiple bleach applications may be necessary.
- Pure Pigments are deposited onto the hair without the use of a developer (ammonia) to ensure the brightest color result as possible. Because no ammonia is used, pure pigment hair color is considered “temporary” hair color and will fade quickly.
- Pure Pigments may need to process for up to 50 minutes to achieve the desired result
- Pure Pigments are not permanent hair color and they will fade with each and every shampoo after the service – this is normal. We recommend not shampooing the hair or using an over-abundance of hair styling products to keep hair from fading faster than necessary.
- The level of fading that happens depends upon the following variables, of which Hair Crafters has no control.
